Gillian Tee is a successful entrepreneur and investor based in Singapore. She is currently the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Homage, a healthcare startup that provides personalized in-home care services for aging individuals.2 Tee is also an Advisor and Angel Investor at Antler, a global early-stage venture capital firm that supports startups.2
Prior to founding Homage in 2016, Tee spent 15 years in the United States, where she co-founded Rocketrip, a technology company that helps businesses reduce travel costs.14 She has a strong background in technology and business, holding a degree in Computer Science and a Master's in Business Administration.1
Tee's entrepreneurial journey is driven by a desire to make a positive social impact, particularly in the field of eldercare. Her personal experiences with her grandmother and elderly nanny inspired her to create Homage, which uses smart technology to connect professional caregivers with seniors in need.34
Under Tee's leadership, Homage has grown significantly, expanding its operations to Malaysia and Australia, and has raised over US$45 million in funding.4 Her work has earned her recognition, including being named a Women of Influence Honoree by the New York Business Journal in 2014.2

Today, we’re absolutely thrilled to announce our partnership with Singlife which adds an additional layer of support to nearly half a million Singlife customers in their care journey.
Homage will act as an end-to-end service provider for Singlife CareShield and ElderShield policyholders, covering everything from severe disability assessments to care delivery. This supplements national schemes like CareShield Life and ElderShield where Singlife is one of the largest supplement providers, aiming to alleviate the financial burdens associated with community care.
This collaboration takes on deeper meaning for me as it represents a coming together of a diverse set of teams and functions across different sectors to bring about more accessible long term care, aged and disability support within homes and communities.
It also ultimately means we take steps closer to better marrying care navigation with financial care to enable an improved care journey through an integrated solution addressing how to best plan for care, afford it, engage care services and ultimately managing it painlessly — a full stack solution to the many fragmented pain points in the space and journey of long-term care.

Some partners make a real difference and I want to give Invest Victoria the light of day today – they have consistently gone the extra mile to extend support to us from even before we set foot in Australia – from visas for our team to now being a key connector helping foster corporate connections and investment partnerships.
