Apart from her media ventures, Ginny is actively involved in social justice work, having produced significant events like the Women's March on Washington and the March for Science. She is the co-founder and manager of the Resistance Revival Chorus, an all women's chorus focused on protest music, which performed at the 2018 Grammys alongside Kesha.

With over 13 years of experience working with The Roots, Ginny has been involved in various capacities including Tour Management and production. She has also played a key role in overseeing original video content production for Okayplayer + OkayAfrica and has created and produced several successful series.
