Gino Briscoe is a retired police sergeant who served with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) for 36 years, with 22 of those years spent in Laughlin, Nevada.13 He was the most senior sergeant in the entire department during his tenure.1

After retiring from the LVMPD in January 2023, Briscoe transitioned into a judicial role. He was appointed as a pro tempore judge in Laughlin by Clark County Commissioner Naft in March 2023.3 Currently, he serves as an Assistant Judge for Clark County.5

Briscoe was elected as the Justice of the Peace for Department 1 of the Laughlin Justice Court, winning 59.56% of the vote in the general election.2 His 6-year term as Justice of the Peace will expire in 2030.4

Throughout his career and post-retirement, Briscoe has been actively involved in the Laughlin community. He volunteers his time teaching karate at a local church, judges the Laughlin citizen of the year award, and has donated over 100 hours at the Laughlin food bank.3 His campaign for Justice of the Peace was endorsed by the Public Safety Alliance of Nevada and the Clark County Prosecutors Association.3
