Highlights
You can have high-vibe copy without dragging your avatar through the pain points.
High-vibe copy celebrates your reader for their good choices.
It showcases the shortcut to what works.
It calls out their experience without dragging them through the mud and making them feel like it's their fault for not having found you sooner.
It invites them IN.
I just wrote a sales video script that opened with a celebration of what the avatar's been doing RIGHT. This kind of copy speaks to their human experience, and shows them that we GET them.
All that avatar research you've been told to do... the point is to make your reader feel "gotten."
Celebrate. Speak to the dream. Show them that they can have it. (Just make sure to be super specific with tangible results.)
Do you respond better to high-vibe copy or painpoint copy?

The trick to writing copy is to follow a formula--without it feeling formulaic.
That's one way that ChatGPT isn't quite there yet. It knows formulas, but not soul...
The first thing you need to do is grab attention, but how that looks is different for every piece of copy.
I just wrote a sales video script where I got attention by calling out the fact that the viewer hasn't celebrated their wins enough. (Then listing those wins.)
It gets attention by speaking to a human experience.
It quickly identifies who the target audience is by naming those experiences they've overcome.
And it sets the stage to present the dream...what's next for them? (The answer is the promise of the offer that follows.)
This technique works for high-vibe copy because it speaks to a pain point (that they haven't been fully celebrating their wins) right off the bat without being negative.
So while it follows a tried-n-true copy formula, it breaks from what's expected.
You don't have to drown your reader in pain points to get their attention.
You just have to give them a damn good reason to listen.
