Glenn Northey

Undergraduate Teaching at Princeton University

Glenn Northey is an experienced Mechanical Design instructor who has dedicated his career to teaching undergraduate Engineering students.

With a Bachelor's degree in Education from Trenton State College and a Master's degree in Online Teaching and Mentoring from Thomas Edison State College, Glenn is well-versed in academic instruction.

Having started his career at Princeton University as a Technician and Machinist at the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab, Glenn transitioned to the main campus to pursue his passion for teaching.

In addition to his teaching role, Glenn has also worked as a research Machinist and Shop teacher, showcasing his diverse skill set.

Recognized for his design and manufacturing expertise, Glenn established 'Glenn Design and Manufacturing', an L.L.C., where he creates small components for graduate students and industry projects.

Looking ahead, Glenn aspires to expand his teaching horizons by potentially teaching in alternative educational settings like community colleges or establishing his own program.

His educational background and professional experience uniquely position him to develop innovative curriculum addressing the impact of designs in early Engineering education.
