Highlights

Jun 14 · linkedin

This week our team in the Office of External Affairs at FEMA put on an absolutely incredible day-long summit on crisis communications, risk communications and community engagement!

It was an honor to have a chance to speak, and I was particularly excited to share some of the most impactful qualities I’ve observed and absorbed from my mentors and teammates over the years.

Digital communications is such a fast paced world, constantly changing and handling it during a crisis is not for the faint of heart, but the people who choose this work are inspiring. 💪🏻

Major kudos and congrats to Justin Ángel Knighten and Jessica Wieder and the whole team that put this event on! #FEMAcommssummit
