I just spent a week meeting private equity managers in the US East Coast (Boston and New York) and the positive impact on airport infrastructure as a result of the Biden administration’s infrastructure bill is very obvious.
Lots of construction and some new terminals already finished (looking and working really well).
From the perspective of an air traveller, the US is starting to feel like a first world economy again and this can only benefit the US economy for many years to come.
With the obvious issues facing Asia (demographic issues and corruption) and Europe (war and slow growth), I still think (despite its political issues), the US will be the dominant global economy for many years to come.
