TENNIS and PATENTS! 2020 U.S. Open will go on! Though top players equivocating on playing. May allow men's winner besides Big Three. Will be strange if no fans. Definitely historic.
Be mindful of innovations to tennis products you conceive. What appears to be a minor modification to a product may be a valuable advance worth protecting by a patent.
I look forward to hearing from tennis innovators and the community.

TENNIS and PATENTS! How could they possibly relate? Here's how: Ever thought of the vast varieties of tennis racquets, string materials and patterns, and stringing machines? Shoe technologies? Tennis ball machines? They are all being improved by major companies, other enterprises, and individuals. Players and Teaching Pros often think of improvements and useful modifications that may be patented. Remember, what appears to be a minor modification may be very useful, therefore valuable, and worth protecting. Patents can have major commercial value.
We tennis fans and players miss this unfortunate hiatus in the pro tennis tournaments. However, let's take this opportunity to think about our ideas for innovations in tennis products and consider patenting them.
I am an avid tennis fan and player. I have worked as a Tennis Instructor. Also, I am a Patent Attorney. I want to help you protect your tennis innovations using Patents so others can't copy them without your permission.
Let's hope the pro tournaments resume soon. Any thoughts on holding the U.S. and French Opens without fans?
I look forward to hearing from tennis innovators and fellow tennis people.
