Earlier this week, I had the opportunity to participate in a panel on the Employee Value Proposition (EVP), and how Marriott International has brought our EVP to life via our People Brand – Be.    Our People Brand is, as the name says, all about people - particularly our associates. We believe in Putting People First, and our People Brand reflects that – inspiring associates to begin their journeys, belong to a global community, and become the best versions of themselves. I was excited to share the journey Marriott has taken to shape and communicate our EVP, and make sure it resonates at every level of the organization.

This was also a timely topic, since this week was coincidentally our annual Associate Appreciation Week, where our hotels and offices all around the world celebrate our associates for everything they do to serve our guests, take care of each other and support their communities.   Thanks to Human Resources Online for the opportunity to participate in the panel and collaborate with Amanda Gervay, Helen Snowball, and Parul Malhotra.

And, THANK YOU to all our Marriott Associates - you truly make the difference every day!   #wearemarriott #AAW2024 #beginbelongbecome

Last week, our APEC HR & Finance Conference brought together 800 leaders from across the region and headquarters to Bali. Together, we celebrated our accomplishments and looked toward the priorities and initiatives that will guide our success. It was truly inspiring to witness the energy and excitement of our talented HR leaders. The collective effort to deliver an exceptional experience exemplifies the collaborative spirit that makes Marriott truly exceptional. I'm proud to be part of a company that recognizes and celebrates the best in our leaders!
