Highlights
One of my favorite talks over the years. After watching this talk, I took a step back and reflected on how I approached projects.
I no longer defaulted to a framework when starting an application, instead I focused on the intent of the application. The first
code I wrote was mkdir <application name>, instead of rails new, lein new, etc.
I also worked on pushing external resources like 3rd party apis, databases, etc to the edges, while the main codebase worked with in memory objects. It eased testing, and made testing FAST.
Above all else, it made programming enjoyable again.

I was really impressed with the technologies used to get this site up and going in a few days. I used Re-frame (a nice clojurescript library for building React style websites). The site uses #graphql to talk to the Shopify API, which does all the heavy lifting for managing an online store.
We use Printful for the fulfillment of the prints, which has been a real joy to work with.
The site is hosted using Amazon AWS Amplify for building, deploying and hosting of the site. The total cost for the month a $1 (amazing)!.
Please reach out to me if you are looking for a developer to help build your ideas.
Besides #clojure, I am well versed in #ruby and #rubyonrails.
