I recently finished two Sales books: The Sales Acceleration Formula & Sales Engagement. Here are my top helpful reminders & insights from them:

  1. Create a “don’t be on it” list and make it visible so it’s clear when things fall through the cracks. E.g. if your name is on this, then you missed a follow up, you don’t have updated next steps on a deal, the close date is in the past, etc.

  2. Use if/then logic in sequences that are customized to the account. E.g. for tech stack, recent account changes, etc. If the field is blank, then you can default to different language or have an SDR customize. This way, our message will be more customized and relevant to them while scaling personalization.   3)Have a training curriculum covering every step of a role and have it tailored to each role level so people grow faster.   4)Set SLAs for important actions so the expectation of what to do is clear (e.g. event list upload, follow up timing for hot leads, etc.)    5)Hubspot’s partner program was very successful for them, and it’s continued to be. Don’t underestimate the value of a formal partner program, but start it at the right time from a GTM perspective.

What do these spark for you? If you've read these, what were some of your takeaways?
