Highlights
This article got me thinking. The majority of businesses are not IT businesses but have IT at their core. Most could not function now without it, whereas years ago they probably never dreamed they would be so reliant on it. It is possibly the only industry integrated in every other industry on the planet. Yet the brains, the talent, you - ladies and gents, have given the power to those companies that need you and believe you me, they need you. Governments pass laws to make sure you are kept at heel. Imagine if NONE of you were employees of the businesses you currently work for. How much easier would they make it for you to be a contractor? Because without YOU nothing would function.
BASE24....It won't die
And rightly so....
But
Don't lowball offer these guys and girls.
There aren't that many of the REALLY good ones left.
If you have them working for you, look after them.
Or they'll knock on my door.
Don't use agencies that don't have a network within the BASE24 community They will happily run off with their tails wagging with your £300 a day inside IR35 role and waste your time trying to fill it.
