Last year we partnered with Anne McNeil to launch a refreshed version of the DiversifyChem (www.diversifychem.com) so that Industrial chemistry and grad student/postdoc cohorts were added to the original academic database that Anne had built. Over the past year, we've had 88 industrial chemists and 241 students/postdocs submit their profiles. There are also now 429 academics on board!

We've launched an incentive to encourage chemists from under represented groups to update their profiles, to create new profiles, or get their freinds and colleagues to sign up. Everyone who does so between now and Mar 15th will be entered to win one of these very fancy YETI tumblers! #DiversifyChem

It’s great to finally see this work in print. A great example of what can be achieved by combining good old fashioned chemical intuition with modern #directedevolution technologies. #biocatalysis
