My office this week has a stellar view, a warm breeze and great friends. Big “thank you” to my clients and partners for granting this solo practicioner the grace to have time to relax and recharge (h/t Donna Wilson) a bit — so I can come back tan, rested and ready for the next challenge.

When COVID began, I had a tough time, while working remotely, separating the work day from personal time. No more commute (yay) but much fuzzier boundaries. This was my own issue, not brought about by my employer, colleagues or clients.

So… when I called it quits for the day, I began playing Jazz music to help set an audio boundary, cleanse the mental palette, and change the mood.

Today, I humbly offer this Spotify playlist to anyone who might need a little assistance letting go of the workday. It’s perfect for a walk, food prep, sitting with a glass of wine, background during a dinner party or just chilling. In fact, my kids even seem to dig it!

Play it on shuffle. I hope you enjoy it.
