Gregory Dresser is an accomplished legal professional with a wealth of experience in judicial and attorney ethics, complex commercial litigation, and class action defense.

Currently serving as the Director-Chief Counsel at the Commission on Judicial Performance, Mr. Dresser previously held key positions at the State Bar of California, including interim Chief Trial Counsel.

Before his tenure at the State Bar, he was a litigation partner at Morrison & Foerster LLP, specializing in civil litigation and class actions, with a strong focus on various legal disputes.

During his time at Morrison & Foerster, Gregory Dresser actively engaged in pro bono work, championing cases such as challenging the Defense of Marriage Act and advocating for vulnerable groups.

Mr. Dresser's educational background includes a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
