Greyson Lewis, PhD, is a Biophysics professional with a strong focus on merging mathematics and biology to create innovative solutions for intricate biological systems like mitochondrial networks and viral quasispecies.

Dr. Lewis holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biophysics from the University of California, San Francisco. His educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science (Sc. B.) in Mathematics from Brown University and studies in Chinese Language and Literature at National Cheng Kung University.

Throughout his career, Greyson has been involved in various esteemed organizations, such as being a Biophysics and Complex Biosystems PhD Student at UCSF, a former Summer Venture Fellow at The Longevity Fund, and the President of Associated Students of the Graduate Division at UCSF.

His professional experience includes roles such as a Physiology Teaching Assistant at Marine Biological Laboratory, a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, and a Research Assistant in the Rebecca Page Lab at Brown University.

Dr. Lewis has a keen interest in developing computationally efficient quantitative models to derive valuable insights from complex systems. His expertise lies in quantitative approaches to qualitative questions, effective communication within teams, project management, and cultural competency.
