He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Sociology from Università degli Studi del Sannio-Benevento, a Laurea V.O. in Law from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, and has participated in the ERASMUS programme studying Law at UNIVERSITE D'AUVERGNE.

Lorenzo has a rich history of working with prominent international organizations like IOM - UN Migration, where he served as a Liaison for Migration Environment and Climate Change. He also excelled as the Manager for the Migrants In Countries In Crisis Capacity Building Programme at the same organization.

In past roles, Lorenzo has showcased his expertise as a Disaster Risk Reduction, livelihoods, and urbanization expert at IOM - UN Migration, demonstrating his commitment to humanitarian causes and sustainable development.

Lorenzo Guadagno's professional journey includes valuable experiences such as being a Knowledge Management Officer at ELAN (Ecosystems and Livelihoods Adaptation Network) and an Associate Information Systems Officer at the United Nations Office for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR).

He has also worked as a Climate Change Junior Professional Associate at IUCN (The International Union for the Conservation of Nature) and as a Communication Consultant at UNDP, highlighting his versatility in various domains.

Before his international roles, Lorenzo honed his legal skills working as a Junior Lawyer at the prestigious Law Firm "Di Costanzo" in Naples and gained experience as a Civil Servant at Caritas Italiana.
