Guela Sekhniachvili is a seasoned professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in international relations, diplomacy, humanitarian work, and project management.

She studied Political Science and Government, specializing in the Diploma of International Program of Political and Social Studies (PISPS) at Sciences Po, and furthered her education with a Master's Degree in Management of development and humanitarian programs at Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC).

Additionally, Guela pursued studies in Latin American studies, Political Science, and Government at IHEAL: Institut des Hautes Études de l'Amérique Latine, and completed a Master's Degree in Roman languages and cultures at Ilia State University.

Throughout her career, Guela Sekhniachvili has held key positions in various notable organizations, including serving as the Diplomatic Adviser for the Americas at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), where she focused on policy and humanitarian diplomacy.

Prior to this role, she served as the Ambassador of Georgia to Argentina, with accreditation in six South American countries, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

Her diplomatic experience also includes being the Deputy Director of the department of Americas at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

In her humanitarian work, Guela has served as the Head of Mission in Syria at Médecins du Monde and held similar roles in Guatemala and Brazil.

She also contributed to election observation efforts as an Election Observer in Belarus with the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR).

Guela Sekhniachvili's professional journey also includes a role as a Project Manager at GRET, showcasing her expertise in project management within the international development sector.
