Saw this historic boat last week -- a symbol of the readiness, bravery and grit of the U.S. Coast Guard -- and it made me think of the many USCG personnel I was lucky enough to work with at DHS long ago: Thad Allen, Ronald Schuster, Christopher Mooradian, Sandi Brandon, William Baumgartner, Cal Lederer, Andy Blomme, Fred Kenney and so many more.
