With a solid educational background, Gustavo earned a Master of Arts in Higher Education & Student Affairs from The Ohio State University and completed his Bachelor's degrees in Psychology, Health, and Society at The University of Texas at Austin.

His professional journey includes roles such as Manager of College Success at EMERGE Fellowship, former Marketing & Content Manager at Phase Zero, and former Mental Health Literacy Specialist at Mental Health America of Greater Houston.

Gustavo has held various positions in academic institutions including Resident Director at University of California, Riverside, Instructor & Intern at Capital University, and NODA Intern at Sonoma State University.

His experience also extends to roles within The Ohio State University and The University of Texas at Austin, where he held positions like Graduate Assistant, Assistant Hall Director, Student Coordinator, Resident Assistant, Lead Mentor, Peer Educator, Orientation Advisor, and Undergraduate Research Assistant.
