Guy Ziv

Guy Ziv, an expert in ecosystem services, is currently serving as a Lecturer in Ecosystem Services at the University of Leeds.

Prior to this role, Guy held positions such as Lead Scientist at the Natural Capital Project in Stanford University and a Fellow at Princeton University.

His expertise lies in modeling various ecosystem services, engaging stakeholders through workshops and surveys, scenario planning, and providing decision-supporting information.

Guy Ziv's research focus includes ecosystem services modeling, valuation methods (monetary and non-market valuation), uncertainty analysis, applicability in varied decision-making contexts, and integration of life cycle assessment (LCA) with ecosystem services approaches.

He completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biological and Physical Sciences and a Master of Science (MSc) in Physics at the Weizmann Institute of Science.

Previously, Guy served as Lead Scientist & Project Manager at the Natural Capital Project, and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University.
