Habib Hamidi is a highly educated professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biological Chemistry and a certificate in Bioinformatics from the University of California, Los Angeles. Currently, he serves as the Principal Scientist in Translational Bioinformatics for Oncology Biomarker Development at Genentech. Previously, he held the position of Senior Scientist in the same department at Genentech. Before his time at Genentech, he worked as a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at M2GEN, Senior Computational Biologist at the University of Michigan, and Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Moreover, Habib Hamidi has extensive teaching and research experience. He has served as an Instructor at UCLA Extension and has held various research positions at reputable institutions such as the University of California, Los Angeles, where he was a Scientist and a Graduate Student Researcher, and the Genome Institute of Singapore as a Visiting Researcher. Additionally, he worked as a Staff Research Associate II in Pediatric Oncology at the University of California, Los Angeles.
