Thrilled to share that our recent review paper exploring innovative ways to produce high-quality beef from the male offspring of dairy cows! This review explores the option of using Double-Muscled Angus sires mated to dairy cows to produce progeny that produce meat that would meet the CAB standard. It could create a paradigm shift in beef industry practices, especially in countries like New Zealand where nearly all beef and dairy production occurs outdoors on pasture. https://lnkd.in/gZn-GhRp #CertifiedAngusBeef #DairyCattle #Sustainability #BeefProduction Certified Angus Beef ® Samen NZ Lincoln University (NZ) Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) DataGene Limited Angus Australia DairyNZ Beef + Lamb New Zealand Beef Central Beef Australia ICBF Silver Fern Farms Ltd ANZCO Foods Greenlea Premier Meats Ltd Alliance Group Limited Greenham Neat Meat Global Prime Range Prime Range Meats Ltd Fonterra Open Country Dairy Ltd Synlait Milk Limited
