Hania Afifi is a seasoned professional with a background as a C-Executive and serial entrepreneur, boasting 18 years of experience in the advertising and marketing sectors.

She pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Arts and Visual Culture with Merit from the University of Westminster, a Digital Marketing Professional Diploma from the Digital Marketing Institute, and a Master of Letters (MLitt) in Modern & Contemporary Art with Distinction from Christie's Education in London. Additionally, she holds course certificates in Modern & Contemporary Art from Sotheby's Institute of Art and a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communication from The American University in Cairo.

Hania Afifi transitioned from the corporate realm after her education to focus on researching and writing about visual arts, design, and crafts specific to the Middle East. She currently operates as an Art Historian, Writer, Critic, and Editor through her platform, Hania Afifi - Art Writer, Critic & Editor.

Throughout her professional journey, Hania has held various notable positions including Chief Marketing Officer and Founding Partner at Mega Scan in Dubai, freelancing roles at Nour Festival in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, as a Publicist & Agent in Dubai Knowledge Park, involved in fundraising for the Shubbak Art Festival at A.M. Qattan Foundation, managing fundraising and marketing initiatives at LONDON PRINT STUDIO, serving as Chief Marketing Officer & Founding Partner at Flavours Online, founding director of deHania Jewellery, working as a Regional Account Director at JWT, and starting her career as a Risk Management Executive at Arthur Andersen & Co.
