Hank Lydick is a retired professional who previously served as the Global Business Manager for Semiconductor Test at National Instruments from September 2010 to December 2020.1 He was part of the founder team that created a new Semiconductor Production Test business unit, which grew into a $250 million per year business over a decade.1
After a 37-year career in the high-tech industry, Lydick took early retirement in January 2021.1 Since then, he has been pursuing personal projects, including:
- Building a "forever" home in the Texas Hill Country
- Constructing a cabin in the Rocky Mountains
- Overlanding North America in an RV
Prior to his role at National Instruments, Lydick held various positions in the technology sector, including:

Lydick holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona, an MBA from Santa Clara University, and a Juris Doctor with a focus on Intellectual Property from The John Marshall Law School.1 He is also licensed as a Texas Attorney and a Patent Attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.1
