Hannah Kim

Preclinical Neuroscientist

Hannah Kim is a dedicated research scientist with a keen interest in studying the neurobiology of diseases, particularly epilepsy. She possesses a strong expertise in various animal research models and techniques including rodent cognitive testing, in vivo electrophysiology, stereotaxic surgery, and molecular and cellular biology.

Hannah pursued her academic journey by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Genetics and Development from Cornell University. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology at Caltech.

Over the course of her career, Hannah has held significant roles in various prestigious organizations. She worked as a Scientist II at MapLight Therapeutics, Inc. and Neurona Therapeutics, as well as a Scientist I at Neurona Therapeutics. She also contributed as a Basic Life Research Scientist at Stanford University and gained valuable experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at both Stanford University and UC Irvine. During her educational pursuit, she served as a Graduate Student Researcher at Cornell University.
