I am excited to announce that I have joined Apple SPG (Special Projects Group). I am extremely excited for the future! Thank you to everyone who I chatted with over the last period as I was deciding which road to choose for my next adventure.
I was proud to be a keynote speaker at the Robotic Industries Association Autonomous Mobile Robot conference a few days ago. During my talk, I discussed "Crossing the Chasm for Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs)" and the path for them to become a core, normal and positive part of industrial, manufacturing and logistics processes and companies.
In preparing for the talk, the below stark statistic from #BCG when looking at previous years really stuck with me. From direct experience, I can say that we are thankfully finally starting to see this change.
The 500 people who listened live to the talk got to hear a set of the sometimes painful, sometimes funny, but (anonymized) real stories of Freedom Robotics' largest customers taking huge leaps forward in their ability to deploy robots significantly faster. at scale, lower their management costs and increase their performance to overall have a significantly higher robot ROI through both using our infrastructure to offload complexity while also shifting the mentality of how they both deploy and manage fleets.
As this year (finally) comes to a close, I am excited to see where everyone takes this in the years to come. #robotics #amrs #automation #freedomrobotics
