Haran Vijayanathan is a renowned Trusted Community Leader with a proven track record of spearheading conversations in the HIV, LGBTQ, and mental health sectors. His expertise lies in initiating and advising on crucial initiatives aimed at promoting awareness and driving change on equity and human rights through the art of developing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the community, government, and corporate realm.

Haran's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Winnipeg. This solid educational foundation complements his practical experience and enriches his work within the community and health sectors.

Throughout his professional journey, Haran has held significant roles in various esteemed organizations. He currently serves as the Community Health and Wellness Director at Klinic Community Health. Previously, he made impactful contributions as the Director of Equity and Strategic Initiatives at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, and as the National Strategic Director at Fierté Canada Pride. His diverse experience also includes being an Adjunct Instructor at Seneca College and holding Executive Director positions at organizations like Alliance for South Asian AIDS Prevention (ASAAP) and My House: Rainbow Resources of York Region. Moreover, Haran has lent his expertise as a Project Administrator at My House, Coordinator of Health Education and Promotion at York University, and Program Manager of Support Services at the AIDS Committee of York Region.
