I am excited to share that I am running for Santa Clara City Council D1 again after coming so close in the last election against the incumbent. As a civic entrepreneur at heart, I feel a responsibility to utilize my experience as the CEO of the Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce, along with my diverse professional background and civic leadership, to help build a thriving Silicon Valley for all. With the immense challenges ahead, our City needs new approaches and fresh leadership to bring innovative solutions as a "community-first servant," not as a representative of the establishment. I believe I am the candidate who can collaborate effectively with the rest of the City Council to provide these solutions. My focus is on looking forward, laying the foundations for strong governance, increasing community engagement, and fostering economic empowerment that benefits all residents. The City of Santa Clara is central to Silicon Valley in innovation, sports, conventions, small businesses, educational institutions, deep heritage, and diverse communities with varying needs. My success in various community initiatives confirms my capability to serve as your City Councilmember for D1. I hope I can count on your vote, support, endorsement, and advocacy. Let's be the tide that raises all boats! www.voteharbir.com
