Harm van Oudenhoven is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of international management experience in development programs and sustainable agri-business across various countries.

He is the founder of Hansa Coffee in Sri Lanka and El Castillo del Cacao in Nicaragua, both social enterprises focusing on local markets.

With a diverse expertise that includes coffee, cocoa, tea, coconut, cassava, mushroom cultivation, spices, dried fruit processing, ratan, bamboo, rice, and other commodities, he is passionate about empowering small and medium-scale enterprises for improved production and marketing locally and for exports.

Harm has knowledge of certification standards, regulations for safe and sustainable production, and is well-versed in blockchain technology and track and traceability systems.

He holds a Master's degree in Cultural Anthropology from Leiden University.

Currently, he serves as a Senior Advisor at Coffee, Cacao & Indigo.

His previous roles include being the founder of ZOEN Chocolate, Senior Partner at El Castillo del Cacao, and various positions at SNV, Coffee, Cacao and Chocolate, Tropical Commodity Coalition, World Food Programme, UNCDF, Hansa Coffee, and Chicken Street.
