I am always fascinated by stories where people navigate through fundamental career shifts and changes. Fortunately, I have a career where I learn about these stories from people in different functions and industries every day. I have decided to share some of these stories through a podcast, because I believe they are beneficial to anyone seeking more fulfillment in their career.

Power Pivots is focused on demystifying career shifts and exploring the backstories that have made them possible. Each episode, I interview guests to learn more about the mindsets, resources, and tools they used to make these pivots happen. I’ll include tools and resources from my guests in the show notes in hopes that these inspire listeners looking to make their own Power Pivot.

I’m really excited to share these conversations with all of you!

Over the past few months I have had the opportunity to work with an amazing team, led by University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business professor Lindy Greer, on designing a Coursera course focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Equal and fair access to true economic opportunity is near and dear to me and I am excited to share that the course is now live!

As a former talent professional, I have seen firsthand the imperative nature of inclusion and retention alongside recruitment in working towards truly diverse workforces. My hope is that this course can serve as both a reflective tool and actionable roadmap- regardless of where you are in your diversity journey.

Congratulations to everyone else involved (Annie Sadler, Chelsea Chandler, Ph.D., Kristan Sock, Rachel Skolnick, and Louise Yuci Liu). I am looking forward to keeping the conversation going. This is just the beginning.

Check it out, let us know what you think:
