Democratizing Quantum @ BlueQubit
Hayk Tepanyan is the Co-Founder and CTO of BlueQubit, a quantum software and algorithms company.14 He has a strong background in computer science and focuses on quantum computing simulations and applications.1
Tepanyan's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, which he completed from 2014 to 2018.2 His professional experience is diverse and impressive:
- Software Engineer at Google (August 2018 - April 2022)
- CTO at CrowdAmp (January 2017 - May 2018)
- Software Engineering Intern at Yahoo (June 2016 - September 2016)
- Software Engineering Intern at Ripple Labs (June 2015 - September 2015)2
Tepanyan co-founded BlueQubit with Hrant Gharibyan in the spring of 2022.6 The idea for the company came to them while sitting on surfboards in Santa Monica, California, after hearing about progress in superconducting qubits from IBM Quantum team.3
At BlueQubit, Tepanyan is working to democratize access to quantum computing through a user-friendly platform that allows developers and researchers to harness the power of quantum hardware with a single click.6 The company's QSaaS (Quantum-software-as-a-service) platform provides access to quantum processing units (QPUs) and quantum computing emulators.3
Tepanyan is multilingual, with proficiency in Armenian, Russian, and English.2 He is passionate about quantum computing and has given talks on topics such as running image classification with 10,000+ gates on current quantum hardware.5

BlueQubit is teaming up with Yale University for our upcoming Quantum Hackathon! 🎉
In parallel with our virtual hackathon on April 12th, the same "Peaked Circuits" challenge will be happening simultaneously at Yale! ⚛️
This means quantum enthusiasts from all over the globe will compete head-to-head with Yale students on the exact same puzzles! 🏆
📅 Date: April 12th 📍 Location: Virtual & Yale University 👉 Register here: https://t.co/ClZrq4viNL

[Quantum DAY 0/30] ⚛️ For the next 30 days I will be posting about quantum computing - from the building blocks like qubits all the way to the state of current Quantum Computers on Day 30 🚀 These posts will give you a good idea of how quantum computers use the "multiple universes" to make computation and what are the limits of this magical technology 💡
