Heath Watenmaker is a passionate and knowledgeable individual with a diverse educational background.

He pursued Rabbinic Ordination and obtained an MA in Hebrew Letters from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, complementing his academic foundation with a deep understanding of Judaic principles.

Furthermore, Heath expanded his horizons by completing a Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Southern California, showcasing his commitment to serving and supporting communities in a holistic manner.

Heath Watenmaker has leveraged his academic achievements to contribute meaningfully within religious and educational organizations.

Currently, he serves as an Assistant Rabbi at Congregation Beth Am, where he brings his unique blend of spiritual insight, community engagement, and social work skills to enrich the congregation.

Prior to his current role, Heath held the position of Reform Outreach Initiative Rabbi at Rutgers University Hillel, demonstrating his versatility and ability to engage with diverse audiences.

Additionally, he gained valuable experience as a Rabbinic Intern at Temple Judea, further honing his pastoral and leadership skills.
