Heather Foster is a seasoned public policy executive and political strategist with a wealth of experience in both the federal government and private sector.

Currently, she holds the position of Head of Global Policy at Lyft Inc., where she leads a team of government affairs professionals in executing policy engagement and establishing strategic partnerships with federal and international policy stakeholders.

Prior to her role at Lyft, Heather served as Vice President at Finn Partners, focusing on developing communications and public engagement strategies for corporate and philanthropic clients.

Heather Foster's impressive career includes a pivotal role in the Obama administration as a White House Public Engagement adviser, overseeing engagement endeavors with the civil rights community and acting as a direct liaison to African American leaders on issues of race and policy.

Her background also encompasses work as a policy and outreach adviser at the U.S. Department of Education and involvement in various political campaigns across major cities like Atlanta, Chicago, and Miami.

Heather has been acknowledged for her significant contributions, being recognized as one of the '25 most influential women in politics' by National Journal and as one of the 'Political Women on the Rise' by Ebony Magazine.

She has coauthored a book, 'West Wingers', with fellow Obama administration colleagues and frequently provides political commentary and analysis on platforms like MSNBC and Sirius XM radio.

Furthermore, Heather is actively engaged in nonprofit work, serving on the board of Step Up, a mentorship organization for under-resourced women, and acting as an equity advisor to Sephora Global on issues of diversity and inclusion.

Heather Foster pursued her education at Northwestern University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Social Policy, following her studies at Duluth High School.
