Heidi Ober is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of experience in peacebuilding and the design of participatory monitoring and evaluation systems for various organizations in Fragile and Conflict-affected states. She has extensive experience in evaluating development, peacebuilding, and security programs across multiple countries, supported by technical advice to NGOs, Government agencies, and Donor Country Offices.

Heidi is well-versed in providing training on a range of topics including Do No Harm (DNH), Reflecting on Peace Practice (RPP), Conflict Analysis, Stakeholder Mapping, Most Significant Change (MSC) theory, Design, Monitoring & Evaluation, Gender, Safeguarding, and Theories of Change. Her expertise also extends to writing guidance on designing, monitoring, and evaluating peacebuilding projects using Theories of Change, along with Problem Driven Iterative Adaptation and Adaptive Evaluation.

She holds a Master's degree in Conflict Transformation & Development from the School of Intercultural Relations at Lesley University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from The University of Connecticut.

Heidi has held various positions in reputable organizations, including being a Principal Consultant at Tetra Tech International Development, Senior Evaluation Consultant at Coffey International Ltd, Peacebuilding Design, Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator at CARE International UK, Senior Programme Design and Fundraising Officer at International Alert, and other roles in organizations like ChildHope UK, Oxfam America, and John Hancock Insurance and Investments.
