Helen Asnake is a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in the humanitarian and development sector, specializing in monitoring and evaluation, learning, collaboration, and program management.

In her previous roles, including as a regional learning adviser for the UK Funded DEPP program, Helen has been involved in impactful work related to humanitarian capacity building in Ethiopia and Africa, collaborating with individuals across 10 countries who share her passion for bringing lasting change.

Currently, Helen is a Monitoring and Evaluation specialist at McKinsey, leading the M&E efforts for the Ethiopian Investment Advisory Facility program. She is dedicated to ensuring that learning takes place and impacts are effectively documented and communicated to drive future programming.

Helen's educational background includes a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from Addis Ababa University, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Gonder University, and a Master of Science in International Development and Politics from the University of Birmingham.

With a wide array of skills such as monitoring and evaluation, research, proposal writing, capacity building, program management, networking, working with donor-funded programs like DFID and USAID, remote working, communication, reporting, leadership, and collaboration, Helen Asnake is committed to making a positive impact on development and improving people's lives.
