Highlights
Great to meet clients and contacts at yesterday evening's event, when I discussed the progress through parliament of the Bill regarding Martyn's Law on terrorism risk preparedness for public venues and events in the UK, and the role of the insurance industry in raising awareness in sound risk management.
I discussed how technology such as #thruvision can also enable a wider range of concealed objects (including small and non-metallic) to be identified when entering (or leaving) venues and events, such as nightclubs, bars, festivals, museums - just some of the types of venues/events that could come within the scope of this proposed new legislation.
Thank you also from me, #stephencarter and #bernadettebailey of CPB to our co-hosts #brucebarze and #toddlowther of US law firm, Barze Taylor Noles Lowther who gave insight on the recent US trend of Nuclear Jury Awards in Civil Court cases in the States.
