Highlights
Recruitment is the Sales of the People Team (read: it certainly isn't easy, but then again, nothing rewarding ever is). If you're a recruiter up for that challenge, why not give this a go? Great if you tick all the boxes, not a deal breaker if you don't. Lack of skill is just a matter of will. And if your mindset for whatever comes your way is "sure, I'll face it", we've no doubt that sooner or later you'll also ace it.
Some bonus content not covered in the job ad itself:
- Why we're hiring?
- It's a backfill position for the best type of "temporary" exit reason: they'll need to switch their focus to taking care of a new human being for a while. As Baltics (EE & LV especially) are quite generous with that leave, it'll be a long while, so even if the exit is temporary, the position is permanent.
- Printify is actively hiring in most departments (read: shameless plug to our career site https://lnkd.in/dnj7kXNt ) and frankly, we could use some help.
- What team will I join?
- HR team in general (little over 20 people), recruitment team in particular (6 people). Around 2/3 of us are in the Baltics, 1/3 elsewhere in Europe. Occasionally, most of us are leveraging the work from anywhere concept, be that within our base countries or somewhere in the world. We believe the office is an awesome choice but not an obligation - come if it's valuable to you, skip if you can't stand the commute.
- Can I balance work and personal life? It's a fast paced start-/ scale up after all?
- You're better off asking this yourself. So, can you? We certainly allow it and ship work-life integration, whichever format works for you as long as you can contribute and add value.
- We've got lone wolfs and married couples, introverts and social butterflies in the team. Some have children and family to take care of, some tend to their hobbies or whatever counts as priority to them at that stage of life. Both are possible.
- Is it stressful and intense at times? Certainly. Is it always? Nope, not really. Though certain amount of manageable chaos and things regularly evolving is guaranteed - it's a growing company after all. As long as you deal well with change and manage your energy levels proactively (read: also consciously taking time off), you'll be fine. Personally, I'm a big believer in prioritising wellbeing and making sure my team gets to take time off when they want and need to (read: You're on PTO? But lurking around on Slack w/o good reason, have "threatened" to ask IT to block their access for that time - but that's just me). Urgency is the easiest thing to create, few things really are. With a good reason and no other way, someone will shoot you a text. On my nearly 4 years at Printify - 0 to date.
You're welcome to slide to my DMs for more questions. But for crystal clear clarity - lets keep it professional and job related - I'm in a long lasting and happy relationship with both my employer at work as well as my partner at home #worklifeintegration
I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of HR at Printify!
