Henrik Eriksson is a Swedish journalist who has been serving as the Editor-in-Chief (Chefredaktör) and publisher of Nyheter24.se since 2013.12 Born on June 28, 1986, in Mariefred, Sweden, Eriksson studied journalism at Kaggeholms Folkhögskola from 2009 to 2011.12

In addition to his role at Nyheter24, Eriksson is also known for:

  1. Hosting "Studio Allsvenskan," Sweden's largest podcast about Allsvenskan (the top Swedish football league), which he has been running since May 2017 alongside Marcus Birro and Philip De Girogio. The podcast attracts over 300,000 listeners per month.12

  2. Previously working as a news reporter for Strengnäs tidning from June 2010 to March 2011.1

Under Eriksson's leadership, Nyheter24 has experienced significant growth. In 2014, the website broke its previous visitor record, reaching 1,779,328 unique visitors in a single week following their coverage of the EU elections.3

Eriksson succeeded Ehsan Fadakar as the Editor-in-Chief of Nyheter24, having previously served as the news chief for the organization.3
