Highlights
It was (already) five years ago when I first saw a job listing just like this one, and I can honestly say – applying for it was the best career decision I've ever made.
Not only does Procter & Gamble deliver on the opportunity to work on an impactful business with fulfilling career, but it's also home to innovative and just plain fun brands to work on like those in Fabric Care – Tide, Gain, Downy, Bounce and more.
If you're looking to join a team like this (yes, it's the one I'm on) and you have a passion for communications, brand building, influencer marketing and (of course) laundry – look no further and apply. Reach out!
Jumping back onto LinkedIn today after finding so much fun in reconnecting with this platform yesterday. It's like rediscovering an old passion, much like my days as a tour guide at High Point University during college. Unsurprisingly, yes, I was that enthusiastic student, eager to show prospectives around, embodying my inner extrovert.
Reflecting on this weekend at SXSW, a memory struck me. During college open house weekends, often called scholarship weekends, I'd work from early morning till late afternoon. Despite the late nights typical of college life and the early starts (often a little worse for wear), I often wondered, "Why in the world am I doing this?" Yes, I enjoyed it, but I was sacrificing countless Saturdays and Sundays to connect with hundreds of strangers, only to repeat it all over again.
Fast forward to this weekend at SXSW, and I find myself in a familiar scenario. Here I am, on the floor, assuming the role of a tour guide once more, navigating through late nights and early mornings, away from my family, with aching feet after long days. But I absolutely love it. Why? It took reminiscing about my tour guide days to realize that it's the passion for the thing that I'm presenting that drives me.
I look at what this team has achieved with Tide evo – after over a decade of hard work. It is truly remarkable. This innovation is set to transform the way we think about laundry and its impact. One of my many passions lies in sustainability, and it's this core value that excites me to share Tide evo with the world.
Today marks the LAST day of our Tide evo experience at SXSW. So if you're in Austin, don't miss the chance to witness this groundbreaking innovation firsthand. It's moments like these that remind me why I do what I do, and why I'm so excited to do it.
