GLOBAL🔹 "Artificial Intelligence Index Report" from Stanford: The Policy and Governance section of the report reviews the global development of AI policies in 2023, ranks countries by their AI initiatives and agency regulatory actions, and details US state actions. Of these proposals, there were 41 bills enacted. The most common areas addressed with passed legislation are Government Use (29%), Education Use (27%), Private Sector Use (22%), Studies (22%), and Elections (20%) (note that a single bill could address multiple categories).
