With a Master's degree in Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from the University of Calgary, Hilary has a strong educational background supporting her advocacy work.

Hilary's professional journey includes roles such as Sexual Violence Response Advisor at Bow Valley College and various positions at CCASA (Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse), including Sexual Violence Educator and Program Supervisor.

Additionally, Hilary has served in roles such as Vice President Student Life at the University of Calgary Students' Union, Community Development Associate at the Association of Alberta Sexual Assault Services, and Community Advisor at the University of Calgary.

Hilary also has experience in child development, having worked as a Child Developmental Aide at Pacekids Programs and as an Aide/Summer Program Leader at Whispering Hills Daycare.
