Hinemoa Elder is an experienced Professor with a strong background in professional training & coaching, specializing in Nonprofit Organizations, Epidemiology, Research Design, Interventions, and Academic Writing. She is a graduate of Auckland University Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences with a focus on advocating for Te Reo Māori and fostering connections with Māori communities.

Educated at Epsom Girls Grammar School, Hinemoa Elder has held various key roles in different organizations. She has been a Board Member at The Helen Clark Foundation, Māori Strategic Leader at Roro Rangahau Aotearoa/Brain Research NZ, and Visiting Associate Professor in Indigenous Research among other prestigious positions. Her expertise spans Indigenous Health Research, Psychiatry, and Neurological Research.
