Globally, several macro events are affecting economies, including the hiring freeze, layoffs, Russia and Ukraine war, the US inflation, and the pandemic.
Do all the factors mentioned above indicate causes of recession, and if so, is it the best time to invest your money? 🤔
Worldwide stock markets declined by 50 and 60 percent back in March 2020, and Investors started to lose confidence, which led to overselling. Nonetheless, many people also invested simultaneously, and after 1-1.5 years, they produced a positive return that they hadn't seen in the previous ten years.
The stock market generated marvellous returns after its low in March 2020; in one year, we have witnessed the S&P 500 generate almost 65% returns, the #Nifty generate 80% returns, and the #Sensex generate 75% returns.
This experience raises two questions. Should we increase our investments again? Or Should we stop infusing money into the Market? 💵🤨
Let's examine the possible Pros and Cons of making financial investments during a recession or a downturn in the economy.
📌Pros Sometimes we get stocks at discounted prices; even blue chip stocks are available at steal prices. Opportunity to generate a good return in the short term. A large number of stocks are easily available due to overselling.
📌Cons High risk is involved due to uncertainty and high volatility in the market. People invest money by taking debt (Not a good decision) As far as market revival is concerned, there is no information available.
All the above points mentioned in the pros and cons are based on the scenarios we have seen so far during the recession and slowdown. This approach is, however, not recommended.
I believe recession and slowdown are the best times to buy stocks at lower prices if the business maintains strong fundamentals.

How can you prevent being scammed from unverified profiles and fake crypto exchanges?💭
📌Make your crypto wallet secure - enable two-factor authentication and do not share your recovery phrase with anyone!
📌Be sure of who you trust - Do your own research, and if someone promises overnight returns, verify it from all avenues because this is impossible!
📌Website URLs - You don't want to fall victim to a spoofed website or enter your information into any website that is not secure.
Private cryptocurrencies are riskier than public cryptocurrencies such as #Bitcoin, #Ethereum, #Solana and so on. Invest at your own risk appetite, but when investing, verify and cross-check for any outrageous claims!
