7️⃣ Mental Shifts that helped me get healthy and stay healthy. 👇🏻

1️⃣I started to see food as medicine & fuel instead of just pleasure and comfort.

  • The food we eat is what helps us feel good or not, and feeling good is crucial to success. It affects how I’m able to show up for myself, my business, and my clients. My filter when making decisions now - “How will this make me feel?”

2️⃣ I let go of perfectionism.

  • I tried to be perfect in the beginning of my health journey and soon realized this was not an attainable goal. I learned to give myself some grace and decided to focus on the 80/20 rule. 80% nourishing food and healthy habits and the other 20%, while not the healthiest, shouldn’t cause much harm, if any at all.

3️⃣ I learned to appreciate the setbacks and use them as motivation.

  • It’s inevitable that life will throw us off track at some point. I use to beat myself up over this but I know now it’s not worth stressing over. Negative thoughts & stress can be just as bad for our health as a poor diet.

4️⃣ Stopped seeking a quick fix.

  • We’ve been led to believe doctors have the solutions to fix us (and fast), but I found out the hard way this isn’t always true. Many times, those quick fixes lead to negative side effects and even more health problems. Learning to take care of myself through healthy habits in nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress management has been the real, long-term solution for getting healthy and staying healthy.

5️⃣ I’ve learned to trust my body.

  • Unfortunately, we’re conditioned to ignore the cues our body gives us. I know now these cues are important messages to help us change course and get back into balance. I believe that my body knows best and is always providing me with information. This belief has served me well in my health journey. …

In order to be truly healthy, we have to understand that the mind is powerful and has a direct effect on our physical health.

Staying in victim mode or believing there’s no hope will never get us to optimal health.

Instead, we have to trust in the body’s innate ability to heal and trust that when we shift our perspective - our habits and the physical body shifts as well.

Want to know the secret that many entrepreneurs have mastered, but the corporate world is just catching onto?

👉🏻The idea that HEALTH is the ultimate key to success.

In the corporate world, it's almost a badge of honor to work around the clock, survive on adrenaline and coffee, and feel stressed around the clock. 🤯

But most entrepreneurs know this lifestyle is unsustainable and leads to mediocre results both in life and business.

Entrepreneurship is tough just like corporate but it’s also different.

You can’t afford to wing it on just five hours of sleep, caffeine, and carbs.

You need to be at your best, day in and day out, because there’s no guaranteed paycheck or boss to bail you out if things go sideways.

But imagine if corporations made health a priority.

What if employees were encouraged to take care of themselves, eat nourishing food, get regular physical activity, and adequate sleep?

What if wellness and self-care were at the core of minimizing workplace stress?

I think the corporate world would see a massive transformation. 💫

You’d experience a better company culture, with happier employees who are in a good mood and well-rested.

Productivity would soar, mental clarity and focus would improve - all leading to higher-quality work and better business outcomes.

Plus, you’d see reduced absenteeism, lower healthcare costs, and decreased turnover.

What company wouldn’t want that!?

I believe this is the future for companies that want to attract top talent and who want to create a successful and thriving business.

Prioritizing employee well-being isn’t just good for your team; it’s a strategic advantage over competitors.

Why not make the shift now and embrace a healthier way forward for your people and your business?

…

Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
