Hossein Dehghani is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the realm of robot-assisted minimally invasive surgery. His expertise lies in research and innovation, particularly focusing on the design, development, and assessment of surgical procedures and devices. His notable contributions include work on a soft robot for colonoscopy, MRI guided robotic prostate biopsy, laparoscopy simulator, and automation of robotic laparoscopy.

Hossein is exceptionally qualified, holding a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic.

His career spans across various prestigious organizations. Currently, he serves as a Senior Research & Innovation Engineer at a Stealth Mode Startup. Prior to this, he was part of the Modern Robotics Bootcamp at Northwestern University and held positions such as a Senior Software Engineer at Activ Surgical, a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Central Florida, a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska, an R&D Engineer at the Research Center for Science and Technology in Medicine, and a Research Assistant at Sharif University of Technology.
