Highlights
Sorry for the promo post but wanted to let you know that my new poetry anthology, “Learning from Life” is now available on Amazon (links below). ALL profits are being donated to Anthony Nolan, the charity which organised a life-saving stem cell transplant for my son-in-law, Darren, nearly two years ago as part of his treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
The link to buy is here:

Or outside the U.K:

If you are able to buy, that would be greatly appreciated (it’s the cost of 3 cups of coffee) but please also share this message with anyone you think might be interested too; post about it on social media and leave a review if you buy the book.
More info about Anthony Nolan’s work below.
Thank you so so much!
Howard
Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with blood cancer. The charity uses its register to match potential stem cell donors to blood cancer and blood disorder patients in need of stem cell transplants. It also carries out pioneering research to increase stem cell transplant success and supports patients through their transplant journeys.
Every day Anthony Nolan gives three people a second chance at life.
About 2,400 people in the UK need a stem cell transplant from a stranger every year
Blood cancer is the fifth most common type of cancer in the UK and the third biggest cancer killer. It accounts for 9% of all new cases of cancer diagnosed in the UK
And It costs £40 to add each new donor to the register so Anthony Nolan always needs financial support.

I just wanted to share a little project I’ve been working on for a while. I have an anthology of poetry called “Learning from Life” coming out next Thursday, February 1st. But…ALL royalties from this little venture will be going to Anthony Nolan .
For those of you who don’t know, Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with blood cancer. It also carries out pioneering research to increase stem cell transplant success and supports patients through their transplant journeys. Every day Anthony Nolan gives three people a second chance at life.
One of those people is my son-in-law, Darren. And the publication date will be close to the second anniversary of his transplant. So, now it’s our time to give back.

The books will be available on Amazon from February 1st priced £10 with £4 of that being the royalties. So, my basic O’level maths from 1982 tells me that if we can sell 250 of these books between us, together we could raise £1000 for Anthony Nolan. Plus you would get a nice little book to keep in the loo!
I will post the link when it goes live next Thursday. Please share if you feel happy to.
