Much as I think LinkedIn is a very useful tool as much as two or three times a day I get unsolicited messages from people I don’t know offering me help to get ‘new business leads online’ or ‘B/B connections’ or some such. These people clearly haven’t done a stitch or research into what I do or frankly anything. How are they able to contact me and how can I prevent them? #leadgeneration #pleasestop #linkedin
The working day and place of work has changed so much over the course of this year, so Fin de Guerre Strategies has been thinking about what the best set-up for our firm should be going forward.
Our conclusion is that many businesses that had need of larger offices with desks for all the team no longer need this. Furthermore many larger companies will not be requiring office attendance for a large proportion of their teams for quite some time yet, if ever again, and as such likely have space going that needs to be repurposed.
We have concluded that we would be best off with an office space where we can sub-let, have signage on the reception and full-or part-time access to one or two good meeting rooms that can be also used for co-working when not taken up by external meetings. We do not want to join any of the co-working set-ups like WeWork or similar. We are currently in Knightsbridge which works well but is not the ideal set-up in the longer term.
We are open to where this space might be, but have a preference for Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Kensington, or Notting Hill. We don’t want to be in The City, E London, Westminster/Belgravia, Fitzrovia, Bayswater, Hammersmith or Fulham.
If anyone has a lead as to how we might find such a space please DM me. #officespace
