Exciting news! 🚀 Applications are now open for Company Ventures' first Nashville Residency! 🌟
I joined Company Ventures a year ago and was amazed by our HQ in midtown Manhattan, where we built a hub for founders known as Grand Central Tech (GCT). GCT has become a cornerstone of the New York startup ecosystem over the last decade, with nearly 200 alumni companies and almost $4B in capital raised. Our building is THE HUB for early-stage activity in midtown Manhattan.
Company Ventures' vision for Nashville aims to support the explosive growth of our city and startup ecosystem just as we have served New York for the past decade. Fostering a stronger community among founders and investors is crucial to realizing this vision.
If you are building a startup in Nashville, we'd love for you to consider building alongside us, housed in the beautiful setting of The Malin in Wedgewood Houston. For details, please see the one pager below or apply here:

Our focus is simple: exceptional venture community. Company Ventures wins by providing founders a physical space to work, collaborate, and grow. We offer some light programming, but this is not an incubator. Founders don't give away equity to become a Resident. We seek to invest in many of our Founder Residents, but only after we get to watch them build. If you or a founder you know are interested, send them our way!
I am thrilled to share the news that I am joining the team at Company Ventures to open a Nashville office. Since our family moved back to Nashville in 2017, I've been looking for the right platform to invest in early stage founders in Nashville and across the Southeast, and I've found that in Company Ventures. Big thanks to Adam Sichko and Nashville Business Journal for sharing our news (click the link, not the image):

Company Ventures has been investing in and supporting founders in New York City for almost a decade. Our Grand Central Tech residency program has housed more than 300 founding teams from our space in Midtown Manhattan. CV's headquarters is THE PLACE for founders to build in New York. Those founders have gone on to raise more than $3.4B, with three of the first 10 investments from CV going into companies that have since become unicorns. CV's formula for success has been proven in the fastest growing tech ecosystem of the last decade.
Nashville has so many talented people, with more arriving every day. Yet, especially outside of healthcare, Nashville has lacked the scaffolding of more established tech ecosystems. Company Ventures' decision to open their second office in Nashville represents a conviction that this town is poised for several more decades of explosive growth. There are more talented founders in Nashville than there are early stage investors here to support them.
CV's investment here is not just about their belief in Nashville. It is also a testament to the fact CV's formula for success is ready to replicate in new markets. We will create some version of the residency program here in Nashville, creating a place for the best founders to build, to collaborate, and to learn. We will also look for other markets across the Southeast with the same potential.
I'm pumped to finally build, invest, and drive job growth in the city I live in. I can't wait to work with and alongside the many talented founders and VCs who have already put Nashville on the map. Let's go!
