Highlights
The American Heart Association Wall Street Run and Walk is one of my favorite running events of the year! The energy of the participants, the sounds of downtown as 10,000 runners and walkers gather and participate (dodging NYC obstacles), and most importantly the mission of and reason for the AHA that is so clearly on display!
It's also amazing to see the #KPMG turnout, with 350+ of my colleagues joining in the fun, and this year was extra special as I had the opportunity to share everything I love about the event (yes including the run!) with my daughter, Maddie, and a couple of her friends! Thanks to the AHA and the exec leadership team for an amazing event and happy centennial year! #AmericanHeartAssociation #WhoRunsNYC #HeartChallenge #KPMGhasHeart #3rdgradersrule
I am honored to represent KPMG as a member of the American Heart Association’s NYC Heart Challenge Executive Leadership Team! It’s an organization and cause I am passionate about and one that I know impacts many of us.
This year I turned 40 and with that milestone I have now entered the same decade as my dad when heart disease so profoundly impacted his life. I’m beyond hopeful that the healthy choices I make, including diet and exercise, and the early detection and prevention actions I take through routine medical follow ups will reduce my chances of heart related trauma and illness. My actions and choices are driven by decades of research by the AHA; the AHA does amazing work to educate, fund research, and advance our abilities to treat and prevent heart related illnesses!
Please consider supporting me in the AHA 2023 Wall Street Run & Heart Walk or joining in the fun! #kpmgproud
